There are many different ways of developing self-love. In my coaching program, I teach specific practical skills to root out, and turn around, negative self-judgments and limiting beliefs. As we remove a lot of the negative mental chatter, it’s helpful to add some positive new loving messages. This guided meditation does just that. It feeds the mind with kind, supportive, and loving energy, instead of the usual self-loathing the mind is used to hearing.
The meditation will run for just over 15 minutes. Before you begin, find a comfortable and quiet place, where you won’t be disturbed. Please do not do this meditation while driving or performing other tasks. I prefer to do this meditation lying down, but if you feel like you’ll fall asleep, then choose a comfortable upright seated position. As you listen to my words, try to stay completely present. If you notice your mind drifting off, gently bring it back to my words. One way to keep the mind from floating away is to silently repeat my words to yourself as you hear me say them. (This has been very effective in my experience).
Doing this meditation once a day (right before bed), for three days in a row, will produce a significant positive shift within you. Try it out, and let me know how it goes for you.
You are loved!
